Hen's eggs and finger sandwiches..

Tom made some homemade scotch eggs as we had part 2 of Katie's hen weekend in our kitchen. He put chives, flat leaf parsley and thyme in the sausage meat and they were cooked to perfection, the eggs were so yellow and smelt delicious... They didn't last long! 
Tuna finger sandwiches and ham and cheese.. 

The finest.

We lit the wood oven as it's become a kind of tradition on a Sunday morning now, fire makes the kitchen so cosy and you wouldn't think your sat below the hussle of the city centre of Bath traffic!

Tummy Tuck....

I am now 24 weeks and feeling very well. I love seeing the little kicks and feeling the movements. So special..




This is my best friend at the moment, along with stopping stretch marks (apparently!) it stops the itching... and smells gorgeous, full of minerals that feel very luxurious, morning and night!!

We're having a little person!!


During the last 3 moths of christmas festivities we have mainly been hibernating and I have been packing down as much food as possible. I very much missed out on smoked salmon and gin & tonic's as I have a little person growing inside me. Very excited that we are now in our second trimester at nearly 14 WEEKS PREGNANT!!

Toast with the most

Delicious sourdough from your local baker
Gruyre cheese and Westcombe Cheddar  

Fry off some chopped onion and leek with a little salt and pepper.
 Mix the cheese with the other ingredients and put between 2 slices of sourdough.

We cook ours in a pan under a brick which compresses it and cooks it evenly
(You can put a little foil in between the brick and the toastie)

After a few minutes turn the toastie's over to brown on both sides


YUM!!

The best toastie ever!!!!
